It all begins with an idea. Hi! I’m Carmen, the founder of Ace’s House. I have always had a deep love for animals and nature, but I especially have a soft spot for cats. I have fostered off and on for many years and have always wanted to do more. Recently, our local shelters have been at max capacity. The euthanasia rate is astounding and many of the cats lose their lives just for being older, having a long term illness (diabetes, thyroid issues, etc) or behavioral issues that could be easily fixed with some time, effort and compassion. I started this journey to really try and make a difference in our community. I have an AA in Criminal Justice and I am a certified Skywarn Spotter with the National Weather Service. I am married and I am mom to 8 children, 3 cats, a pitbull and a bearded dragon!
