What We Do
-
Rescue
We mainly pull cats from our local, overcrowded shelters to save them from euthanasia when it’s due to age, behavior or long-term illness (or a disability) that makes them less likely to be adopted. We then provide them a loving environment to spend their days. We LOVE to see cats adopted, but we take them in knowing they may be here forever.
-
Placement
Our cats have a forever home at Ace’s House, but we LOVE the adopters who come specifically looking for a cat with special needs. We make sure that every adopter and cat match perfectly and we will continue to help you post-adoption with training, support, etc. We also utilize foster homes for some of our cats who we know will THRIVE better in a home/family environment.
-
Protection
ALL cats deserve a chance and that’s why Ace’s House exists. We want to do everything we can to help our large, local shelters by pulling those who need more personalized care. Sometimes euthanasia happens due to overcrowding and it’s usually the senior and special needs cats that are euthanized first and that’s just not fair. We strive to help give these cats a chance at a happy, safe life!
